CHICAGO, IL – Vis-à-vis Creative has earned no fewer than five shiny new trophies on behalf of RadiumOne, the first digital ad network targeting audiences’ social connections in real-time with its proprietary ShareGraph technology.
RadiumOne, tapped Vis-à-vis to produce a video to introduce the world to the company’s Expressions, a Like/Share social overlay for display ads that lets consumers interact and share ads, the same way they would within social media: if a user likes or shares an ad with others, the RadiumOne network will begin to show that person more offers that are more on target with their interests, which is great for advertisers seeking to make stronger connections with consumers.
RadiumOne approached Vis-à-vis with the concept of using a dog named Rex to illustrate how Expressions’ Like and Share buttons work. Through a dream, Rex imagines liking and sharing lots of pet-related items, which subsequently end up as his.
George Simkins, Managing Partner of Vis-à-vis, was quick to give credit: “RadiumOne wanted to focus on the concept of socially-enabled ads, and had a great vision for how to do it. The video never shows an interface or client dashboard – instead it shows how someone might be benefit from RadiumOne’s Expressions social overlay technology, all from the point of view of Rex.”
Creative Director Jennifer Sage developed Rex, a two-dimensional “South Park” style pooch with a great personality. Digital Media Director Christopher McEvoy animated the piece with smooth moves and humorous expressions, which gives the video its own visual identity.
